Met aga last night! She invited me to her family BBQ! It was hell of a catching up to do! she will be leaving for SEP soon, and im soo going to miss her! It really feels weird when we’ve been literately staying together for a year and suddenly she’s gone ( or will be gone ) for half a year... AGAA !!!!!! *SOB SOB ! Kris’ leaving for NOC too! Oh man!! Miss the days when we mug till 3am and promise to wake each other up to continue studying, ONLY TO END UP SLEEPING IN ... hahaha!!! Miss you girls!!! Come back real soon ok! No plans for Sunday, suppose to go for tuition, but i was way too tired... and my mum’s acting weird again! She kept asking me why I didn’t go out with my friends, “ you always can’t wait to go out with your friends when the hols come” she said.. last time when i keep going out, she will nag at me and say i treat the house like a hotel, now that i stayed in, she began to worry that i’m neglecting my social life... mums are so contradicting sometimes.. but oh wells, i still love her ! *muacks! She’s like my soulmate ( female version, im nt les ok). I tell her everything! Friends, relationships, studies, work.. EVERYTHING.. and i like it! this whole transparency thingy makes her trust and understand me more as a daughter =)

Got my result back!! Got improve!! Yay!! It’s not fantastic, but im still happy, cuz i can feel myself working harder this semester! Gotta work harder for the next 2 semester!! Last year ready! Woohoo! Ok, for people that dunno, I’m not taking honors. Dun see the point of taking it since i dun see myself working in the economics field next time. Government jobs like MOE or whatever looks really boring to me... so yup! MNC’s the way to go for me!

Come to think of it, i realise i was really very hard on myself in sec and JC. Trying to be the best in class, trying to get all the grades that i missed out so much in life.... it’s so silly! I mean i agree grades are important and stuffs, but why stress urself so much ? i dun understand why some people are just so competitive and they are constantly comparing themselves with other people, seriously speaking, i think it’s a display of low self esteem and confidence, cus they are afraid to lose out and fall behind the rest... and when they really fall behind, they behave like it’s the end of the world.. come on guys... life move on ! as long as u know u put in effort, you deserve a pat on the back NO MATTER how you do! Smile!

For those who did well, well done!! I feel so happy for u guys! And for those who didn’t, dun give up ya ? life goes on! Many of the top CEO in the world, didn’t have great grades in schools too! Still got chance! =)

Today was fun fun fun!!
Work had never been so fun b4! I was partner with Kailing today! yippee! We were praying all day and all night that we will be put in the same group. finally, someone heard our prayers!

We went to ngee ann poly to sell today, and guess what, we have a CLEAR CUT ( meaning we sold ALL the cards we brought out with us )! Woosh! 150 bucks just like that! We had LOTS of fun together; trying to run away from the security guards, bitching, complaining and checking out the cute guys there. the last customer today was this damn cute twins!!! They are DAMN CUTE AND GOOD LOOKING!! they wanna gt the cards from us but didn have enough cash with them, so one of them offered to head down to the nearest atm to draw money. The funniest thing is, he offered to give us a ride there in his bike.. so cool right !? if im nt wearing a dress, i would have ...!!! HAIZ! NVM! so meanwhile, while waiting, kailing and i talked to his brother, who happen to be a damn charming and cute guy too! He asked if there is still vacancies cus he’s kinda interested in our job.. Kailing and me were damn excited ( secretly ) deep down inside we were screaming: “PLs PLS PLS! Come and work with us!!!! “ haha! after a while, his twin brother came back and told us there was something wrong with the atm and he wasn’t able to draw the money out.. i was stunned for a moment, till he sheepishly draw out his wallet and took out the money.. haha! ok, truth being told, i’m a super naive person.. oh wellz..

Im sooo tired today!
Just came back from blast prac for Asian Youth Games.. it’s damn tiring ... i wanted to pull out of the perf initially. I was actually contemplating if i should attend today. alot of people actually dropped out. Didn’t see krystal and colleen around.. oh man, 2 pple less to bitch with after prac.. haiz!!! Come back girls!!!!! Quick quick! Lol!

Anyway, clar, mich, ruisi and i went to fong seng to get a drink after prac and we crap a lot. Lol! It was really funny! Manage to hitch a ride from clar’s bf.. thank god!!! Imagine travelling from fong seng back to hougang at 10pm .. omg, i’ll prob reach home at 1am ?! sick!

Work was ok today... not fantastic. I seem to be losing the motivation and enthusiasm for the job.. i guess the physical part of the job’s really getting into me.. i really cannot imagine pple actually doing this as a full timer... it’s crazy! Haiz.. it’s ok Rachel Kong, u’re going to be SUPER slim after 10 weeks. Confirm! It feels like i just signed myself up for a 10 weeks gym membership. GOODNESS!

Hang on RACHEL!!! After this job, u dun have to work during the semester anymore to pay off hall fees!!! And u can sign up for ALL the dance course u want!! OSchool and Studio Wu, Here i come!!! Wait for me k!!! =) woosh!

Hey friends !

It’s finally SUNDAY!!!! No more waking up at 6.30am and walking around for 8 hours! Poor feet, till now, my toe’s still numb! It’s been a week and i’m getting a bit worried... haiz!

Anyway, Friday was HORRIBLE! The whole day i only sold 2.. YES TWO! So sickening!! It’s suppose to be TGIF! Why are people so negative that day!? And why i keep meeting people who have to appear at the wrong time to spoil the deal! Anyway, thank god andy and mingfeng bought one from me ! and we went to have dinner at Amici at Holland V together. The food was really good!! Mingfeng’s spag was damnn nice!! I keep taking from him hahaha! We had a bottle of wine and i was high after drinking half a glass... so lousy right !? lol!

Yesterday was good! Only work half a day and i manage to close 6 deals! Close to a 100 bucks! =) suppose to meet Gen they all for dinner, but gen just got discharged from the hospital.. she was down with fever. Poor girl... going over to visit her later =) hope she’s ok nw !

Ok, im going to relax and enjoy the rest of the Sunday!! Wheeeee!!

I am soooo tired today.. i really cant feel my toes AT ALL.. not exaggerating! My feet hurts like shit... but today’s really fun and fulfilling! We had a competition between the sexes, the first team to hit the target sales and come back to the office at 530 SHARP will be rewarded 100 bucks.. and guess what? WE WON!!! woosh!!!

I love working with the girls!

Benefits of working in an all girls group:

1)No need to tolerate the smelly cigarette smokes from the guys

2)No need to walk super duper ultra fast to catch up with the guys

3)Can take the elevators or escalator ( the guys always says it’s faster to take the stairs )

4)Eat at air-con places instead of the hot kopitiam they always go ( y? Cus they wanna smoke ..)

5)Gossip gossip gossip all the way!!!

6)The girls are such darlings =)

We really worked hard as a team to help each other reach our target. We constantly motivate and encourage each other on the way.. it really feels good to have someone by your side when you’re down =)

So we spilt 30 bucks each and use the remaining 10 bucks to treat the office to some drinks during dinner. So nice of us right LOL. Work so hard for the extra 30 bucks only to spend it on a top just now... HAIZ .. money’s sooo small!!!!! 1 top!! And there goes my money...

Oh well, i do deserve some reward for one day of hard work right ?! YES I DO !!!

Finally i can wake up at 12 noon w/o feeling guilty!
Today’s off day! And I earn 75 bucks yesterday from sales! From 30 on Friday to 75 on sat! Big improvement! It’s like better pay then working in the office or internship. And this is just the commission. Woohoo!

Anyway, i really cannot stand people who walk really slowly.. esp in the morning when everyone’s rushing for work... they think they have all the time in the world and block everyone’s way ! so irritating! I dun mean to be mean or what... but it’s really frustrating esp when u’re rushing and all.. like one of the facebook group i wanna “ smack their head” hahha! For people who dun know.. there’s a facebook wall call “I Want To Punch Slow Walking People In The Back Of The Head's Wall”

Sorry i have been MIA again. Anyway i found a job!! Yay!
Will be working at this marketing company doing sales. The pay is REALLY good lol! 2000 a month is actually kinda achievable when u add in the commission! Yup! Tat good! Haha! I learnt a lot from my colleague on my first 2 days and realise sales is actually really hard work.. no wonder they say sale people earn the most... they really work for it... ( mental note to treat sale people nicely in the future ..haha! )

Anyway, i kinda sianz when i found out xinyi’s not working with me.. haiz! Was hoping we will be able to work together =( work will be so much fun with u around...

The paper that i dread the most is finally over!! The paper was surprising VERY EASY... yes Rachel kong says its VERY EASY... heard tat ? i mean, come on, who will set a def qn when it’s an open .. seriously ? it’s really knowing where your ans are and COPY it. that’s how easy it is.. if i knew, i would have slept more the night before the paper, instead of freaking out like a mad woman.. haha!
But i dun expect an A, since I screwed up mid terms big time and since everyone’s prob going to score too.. oh well... wt’s new in econs? If the paper’s hard, only the smart pple get the A, if the paper’s easy, it’s a competition of who’s more careless... HOW TO GET A , U TELL ME ?!

Two paper down and 3 more to go. 3 !!!! pple are having like 3 papers only, i have 3 MORE to go .. oh gosh...
Well marketing and labour’s over.. it was ok, i find both paper manageable.
Everyone was saying labour’s last qn was really difficult... wrote a few crap down there, I hope i got it right cus it makes sense to me AT THAT POINT OF TIME!!! Haha! but the more i think about it now, the more i find faults in it... oh wellz... other then that, it’s the same old, eat and vomit your textbook tactic.. nothing new.. same goes to marketing.. dammit! The lecturer gave a study guide to study... who would have thought he REALLY set the paper ACCORDING to the study guide!! WOOSH! GG! there goes my A for not memorising the guide hard enough. Cant believe it’s such a giveaway !!! but oh well, wasn feeling any stress since im planning to SU it anyway. Shuf, Eunice and me are aiming to be the good hearted pple who occupy the lower end of the bell curve so the biz student can score an A. Jason u better score A ok! So noble right! Hahahha!!!!
